In the event you're no longer able to attend and would like someone else to take your place, transfer requests must be received at least 30 days prior to the retreat. Acceptance of transfer requests will be at Corc Yoga's discretion.
In compliance with the local health authorities, the Ecorkhotel Évora has kept in mind the well-being of both customers and employees and has been approved with the “Safe & Clean” seal from the Portuguese Tourism Board to their property.
As part of the new requirements, they have enhanced levels of hygiene and using specific disinfectants against Covid-19 in all public areas, including lobbies, restaurants, swimming pools and guest rooms.
These measures include enhanced hygiene and disinfection within bedrooms, cleaning several times a day surfaces and objects in common use (including counters, light and elevator switches, door handles, cabinet handles), availability of hand sanitizers at various points in the hotel and a variety of specific extra measures to ensure the health of guests during their stay, such as disinfection of luggage on arrival and key cards. These guidelines also extend to all back of house operations from supply chain deliveries to culinary preparation areas and housekeeping procedures.
In addition, the hotel staff measures body temperature daily, reinforces the necessary training in hygiene and safety, as well as provide personal protective equipment.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will have exclusive access to the schedule on a mobile app where you can sign up for classes, excursions, meet other attendees and our teachers. Corc Yoga will be your personal concierge from the minute you register to the very last day of the retreat.
The total cost paid is for one space on the retreat and includes:

*The cost paid does not cover airfare, hotel spa services, travel insurance and any special arrangements for airport transportation, additional accommodation, and all other bookings for those arriving early and/or staying later for an additional cost. Additional transfers to/from the retreat are at your own cost, unless otherwise specified.
*Travel insurance is is highly recommended. If you choose to buy insurance we require that your travel insurance covers the activity of this event as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses.
* All tips for the drivers, teachers, guides, housekeeping and bell boys are not-included.
* Alcoholic beverages, non-included drinks, souvenir shopping and laundry services are not included.
* Also not included are: items of a personal nature such as, gifts, toll calls, excess baggage, medical costs, the costs of hospitalization and evacuation from remote areas, travel insurance and additional expenses arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of transportation, or other causes beyond our control.
* Other non-included items would be: any other activities and tours not included in our package.
**Signups will be required for all transfers and excursions included prior to the start date of the retreat.
Each suite is equipped with free Wifi, air conditioning, Tivoli toiletries, LCD Television, hair dryer and a mini bar.
You will have at your disposal a safe to secure your personal belongings such as your passport, bathrobe, slippers (on request) and coffee maker.

We will have two options for you to choose from for airport shuttle pick up times from the airport to Ecorkhotel Evora.

In addition to the hotel amenities, the city of Evora is a must visit destination and only a 10 minute drive from the hotel. We will have transportation available at certain hours of the day (included with your costs) and Uber/Taxis are always available at your disposal. You will also have the option of partaking in inclusive excursions to visit one of Portuguese secret beaches, experience forest bathing amongst cork trees and enjoy wine + olive oil tasting at a local farm.
Evora weather can be cooler during the autumn months, so make sure to bring your fall gear! Closer to the date of the retreat, we will send you a checklist to make sure you have everything you need.
No, we will be providing a Corc Yoga mat for each person.
You do not need to participate in everything; you can pace yourself to find the perfect amount of activity for you. We support you in doing as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.. However: remember this is an active vacation, and we are giving you as much value as we can for what you signed up for! (personally, we wouldn’t want you to miss a thing!) The schedule gives you a sense of the flow of each day. It’s always subject to change, depending upon the needs of the group, weather, etc.
